On December 29, 2021 at 2:56 pm, the 300 MW photovoltaic project of Fengwan, a new power enterprise of Shaanxi Coal Fugu Energy, was successfully connected to the power grid. Thus, the largest centralized agricultural photovoltaic project of Shaanxi Coal Group was officially put into operation, adding a new green dynamic to the power supply of Shaanxi Coal Group.
With a total investment of about RMB 1.4 billion, the project follows the business model of "on-board power generation, under-board planting, scientific development and comprehensive utilization", further strengthening the organic integration of green energy and modern agriculture. Once the project is operational, the company will introduce smart management and operation methods such as drone inspection and robotic cleaning and maintenance. This is expected to provide 500 million kWh of clean electricity per year, save 156,400 tons of standard coal, and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 470,600 tons per year compared to thermal power plant projects with the same generation capacity.
