On August 16, 2022, the international meeting of the 2022 Friendship Cities Industry (Argentina, Indonesia and Japan) was held in the 6th Silk Fair, where the key projects of Shaanxi Coal Group under the "One Belt, One Road" initiative were formally signed and the new development model for energy enterprises was introduced.
At the meeting, an agreement was signed between the Argentine provincial government of Tierra del Fuego and Shaanxi Chemical Group, a subsidiary of Shaanxi Coal Group, to support the development of energy and chemical projects in Tierra del Fuego province. Shaanxi Coal Group and Fuhai Group signed a framework agreement on cooperation in the New Silk Road Industrial Park project in Indonesia. Shaanxi Coal Group Yulin Chemical Yudong Technology Co, Ltd and Japan Yugao Co, Ltd signed a cooperation agreement on a DMC project with a capacity of 500,000 tons/year to demonstrate coal fractionation and utilization for the production of new chemical materials.
